AX2012 Trade agreement lead time and vendor production lead time calculation for delivery date

In AX2012, there is Lead time and Vendor production lead time in price/discount journal when setting up trade agreement. Would like to the function of each lead time and also how do they impact on the delivery date in the PO to vendor?
