Hi all,

I saw the road map of Dynamics CRM, but it is not clear when the Developer Toolkit will be supported in Visual Studio 2013. Can someone answer with the release date?

I already saw  this post, which is not working for most of my team fellows, even following same steps.

Microsoft still hasn't issued a specific release date for support of Visual Studio 2013. We're all hoping it will be soon :) In the latest version of the SDK (6.1) you can already see the work they've been doing around tooling with the new plugin registration tool, package deployer, and data migration utilities.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Software Development Kit (SDK) on www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx under  System Requirements says:

    Supported Operating System

Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012

Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft Visual Studio 2012, or Microsoft Visual Studio 2013

    System Requirements with no support...

That is right, it says VS 2013 but actually it is not working.

When installing the developer toolkit, it is not showing VS 2013 as a target.

Thank you for answering Jason, I saw the new cool registration plugin tool :).

But I still looking for a date to plan ahead.

I suggest keeping an eye on the more popular MS CRM blogs like the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Team Blog for further news. An announcement like that would be communicated through a medium like that rather than a forum. Outside of the CRM product team, nobody really knows when it will be released - they might not even know yet.

Thanks Jason, you right  that is a really good source, I will subscribe to the RSS there.

Simon Jenkinson created a consolidated list of instructions on how to get the toolkit working in Visual Studio 2013.  Maybe review those to make sure the steps you guys were trying are identical to his?
