Hi Abdo,
You can read about the different purchase order type here:
technet.microsoft.com/.../aa548932.aspx
For the purpose of the purchase order type "journal":
"Journal
Use as a draft. This type does not affect stock quantities and does not generate item transactions. The purchase order journal lines are not included in master scheduling."
Regards,
Daniel
If you often enter purchase orders that you might work on for a period of time and you don’t want it to be processed, then you can use the purchase order type as Journal. This essentially make a draft purchase order and it won’t be able to be processed until it’s changed to a order type.
