Display bottleneck task at case level

Posted on by 485

Hi,

I have some 50 tasks under a case. I want to show at case level (either through view or dashboard), if there is any bottleneck in the case progress, means i need to show which task are not completed. I need to show at case level.

Thanks

    Hi Nagarajan,

You should check out new Task Management solution for Dynamics 365. It contains of 3 custom dashboards:

    1. My Tasks
    2. Tasks by User
    3. Tasks by Project (this one can be modified according to your business need, for example Tasks by Cases).

Dashboards are easy-to-use and allow you to manage all your tasks in one place, regarding to the specific Dynamics 365 record and to track progress on the Case development. You can also monitor the due dates and tasks priorities or break tasks down into sub-tasks.

The solution is available on AppSource
    https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/dynamics-365/skyline-consultants-5228552.skyline_taskmanagement?tab=Overview,

or you can visit Skyline Consultants website for more detail:

    Best,
    Kristina

    Hi Nagarajan,

    Please follow the stages:

    1. Create a new view which filter the activity type is open on the Task entity. You can add some columns you need. Then save and publish it.

    2. Open your case form, add a subgrid component. Set the subgrid like the following screenshot:

    Result:

Open a case record and you could see all the uncompleted tasks:
