Hi everyone.
I'm fairly new to D365 Marketing. We've just rolled it out sometime back and we've been deploying marketing pages. However, I cant seem to find any settings during creation of marketing pages for the following:
1. Title Tags
2. Meta description
I tried in Designer, in the Summary as well as Portal Integration and there doesnt seem to be any function/feature to do it. As a workaround, i had to add the code into the HTML. Is this the norm or am I missing something?
Sorry for the delay in reverting. It's fixed now. We're deploying with the header/footer enabled. Thanks and much appreciated.
Hi Kevin,
The option is supposed and recommended to be enabled.
Because header includes some necessary JavaScript libraries to render title and provide us with function to change title.

Hi Clofly,
Thanks for reverting. Pertaining to #1, I managed to get it to work by keying in the title in the localized content page. However, the title will only appear if i enable the Use Website Header and Footer function, otherwise it wouldnt work. So its either that, or i have to insert the title tags in the HTML code itself. Is this how it's supposed to be?
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, it's not possible to create tags for Marketing Pages.
Would describe how you intent to use it? Currently titles and other attributes allow you to filter and search.
Best,
Defne
Hi Kevin,
Due to marketing page is hosted on Portal, so the settings shall be similar to when we set title of other pages in portal.
1. Title Tags
From your screenshot, your marketing page is associated with "Marketing Page Default Template" page template.
If you want to change title of marketing page, you could open the page template record, and find its related web page record.
In related web page record, open record in Localized Content section, then you can find Title field.
e.g: Change case creation page title.(I have only trial version of Dynamics 365 for Marketing application, which couldn't be integrated with Portal thus I couldn't test your question.)
The thread below is similar to your question.
(Or check whether there is content snippet which could represent "title" in "Marketing Page Default Template" web template.)
2. Meta description
Do you mean metadata? (Like we set up metadata of entity form or web form.)
If so, marketing form is different from entity form and web form, currently we couldn't add field validation to marketing form by editing metadata.
You could use Marketing form API to do custom validation.

Clofly
