Hi,
I have BOM with setup as follows:
Finished good is setup with serial number per quantity tracking dimension.
Finished good has automatic serial number attached to item.
I created a production order with quantity of 4, then click update registration, click Split.
I notice when I click Split, the system assign same serial number for all quantity.
How can I make it to have different serial number for each quantity?

Hi marypeace,
When you open "Update registrations" form and click split, you need to tick "Auto-create" boxes and register (post all) your quantities back with your desired serial number or leave the "serial number" field blank and system will auto-create the serial number for you. By default it will pull out the same serial number you already attached to your production order.
