Reg : PUblish button in Knowledge Article Entity

Hi Everyone,

I Have a requirement that when ever a parcticular user with security role A tries to publish the knowledge article it should throw an alert indicating that the article must be approved by user with security role B.

I am able to write the logic for this.But I am unable to customize the button since it is OOB one.

I tried downloading the ribbon workbench xml for all the entities and tried to find the button I had no hope on this.

Please advise on this.

Hi ,

1) In Ribbon Workbench, select that button and right click on it.

2) Click on option Customise Button.

3) You can also Customise Command.

Hi Bharat,

I just checked in my trial and I was able to see customize command on publish button on KB article entity.

Can you try from xrmtoolbox ribbon workbench and see if it is visible.
