Hi ,

I have a problem when starting workflow application pool in AX 2009

Application pool MicrosoftDynamicsAXWorkflow50 has been disabled. Windows Process Activation Service (WAS) encountered a failure when it started a worker process to serve the application pool.

Please give me an advice....

Check event logs; you might be able to find there more information about the WAS failure.

Thank you for your replay...I have got this message from event viewer.There is no more details about error

Hi Abin

Could you verify the service account which the Application Pool runs under has a valid password? Check the Application Pool settings and the Identity used for the Application Pool. If you know the password, you can easily test the credentials directly using the following command lines:

Open a command prompt (Start, Run, cmd):

runas /user:DOMAIN\USERNAME notepad

You will be asked for the password, and while you type it in, it will be hidden. Press enter, and if Notepad runs, you have the right password. If not, then either the password is wrong or the account might be blocked entirely.

Let us know if the credentials are ok.
