Incomplete reservation in LOADS AX 2012 R3, NO WORK IS CREATED

hi!

I'm doing a sales order and then I create the load, assign a rate and reléase it to the warehouse, when i do this the wave is created but I can not release because no work has been created or completed, and always appears as incomplete reservation. Anyone know what may be wrong? because i already check the waves and work templates and I believe they are correct.

 

I really appreciate any help :)

    Is your sales line reserved prior to releasing?  In order to get Work your sales line must be reserved.

    Hi Ariana,

    In addition to Rob's answer, also make sure the item has a storage dimension group attached which is enabled for warehouse management.

    Thank you very much for your reply, that is exactly what is happening, when I go to the planning area of the load appears the checkbox marked as  "incomplete reservation", how can I reserve the quantity, I do it from the sales order or is done automatically by the system?

    Hi Ariana,

    Reservation depends on some settings. It is possible to reserve manually or automatically on sales orders. Also you can setup some automation of reservation on Warehouses.

    how to get around the incomplete (or partial) reservation issue without customization in AX 2012 R3 prior to "release to warehouse" since it's fairly common to do partial pick/pack/ship in WMS?

    Hi

    When we see the sales lines in Load planning workbench, is there any possibility to identify the status (if received in warehouse or not) for the SO lines (either reserved against the PO or from stock) and filter . Kindly help on this as this is very important for us to start the outbound process
