Display an Entity within an Entity?

Hello!

Is it possible to display an entity within an entity?

I have a Contact entity that I can choose which Account they are part of.  I want to be able to display that chosen Accounts address information within the Contact record.

I've tried a subgrid but that lists all Accounts when I only want to display one, specific account.

I have attempted something similar with javascript to copy the Account data into similar fields within the Contact entity but this had some un-user friendly problems (like not updating when the Account does) so I want my users to be able to confidently view the Account details directly within the Contact, knowing that they are accurate.

Any help greatly appreciated!

    Hi,
Go to Settings > Customization > Customize the system.
Expand Entities, Contact > Forms, open one main form.
Under 'INSERT' tab, add 'quick view form' control, then one dialog will open, you can see the Data Source section.

    Hello!

Thanks so much! I have managed to add the Quick Form view, customised it.  But I cannot find the Data Source section you've mentioned to link up the Form to the Contact record.  Where is this setting??

    Hi Partner,
You can use quick view form to show information from parent entity.
...I have a Contact entity that I can choose which Account they are part of...
This refers to the contact entity having a lookup field on it that points to the account, right?
If so, you can customize this contact form:

    --Company name is account name
--Select one form you need, or edit selected form to add/remove fields.

    Save and publish.
    Test:

I hope you can mark my answer verified if it answer your question! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
    Regards,
    Leah
