Private Notes on a Case form

Hi,

I added the 'Private Notes' entity on a Case form.  When adding a new Private note, I am required to add the Person/Student.  How can get this field to populate with the  Cases' Person/Student? 

The Case has a relationship with the Person/Student.

Private Notes on a Person/Student form does not require this.  The Person/Student (the regarding) is automatically inserted in the (Person) Student field.

    Hi partner,

    Dose the "private Note" a custom entity in D365? I did not find such entity in my instance.

    Since there is relationship between notes and case,  it is possible to set related value from case form.

    For example if on the case form there is also a student field, we could use workflow to do this.

    1.Let's go to Settings->Process and create a new workflow, select the "Private Note" as main entity.

    2.Let's set the trigger condition for this process. Here we need to trigger this workflow when creating private note.

    3.Create an update action to set the student value from case form to note form.
