Auto populate data from an Outlook item to a quick create case table

Hello,

I was doing some testing for D365 Outlook Add-in to discover all the features and currently, I am stuck to auto-populate information like contact and account automatically from the email to the quick create form during the creation of a new case.

Please find below the steps that I did:

1. I tracked the email to an existing contact since the recipient of the email is the same email id in the contacts table:

2. I linked the contact to an account by specifying the account name.

3. During the creation of a new case from the add-in, the fields below were mapped except for the contact and the account I am looking for:


 

I am concerned about why those two fields are not being mapped automatically since /Regarding/ is linked to the right record?

    Based on the information you provided, we conducted some tests.
    This could be caused by the sender and recipient having the same e-mail address.

     
    Then send the email using the other email address, successfully populating the customer and contact fields.
