Change the Global Search records searched?

At the moment, the Global Search will return results for Opportunities, Contacts, and a slew of other entities. Some of our staff would like it to return *only* Accounts, as this is the main entity everyone uses. Is this possible, ie, to change it so that nothing except Accounts are returned (kind of like a Priority Search). If no Accounts are found, people could click a link to expand the Search to all Entities.
Realize this might be a Feature Request and not possible, but I thought it was worth asking.

Hello,

As far as I know, there is no conditional logic in that search.

On top of Andrew's answer, would say we don't have this approach in native way.

Eventually you can develop your own code, create a button and invoke a different search engine.

Another approach would be create view with preset filters.
