AUC files

Do you think we'll ever see a time when we don't have to delete AUC files practically on a daily basis in order to solve a random array of weird problems caused by AUC file corruption?  I've been on AX since 2.x.  It's getting a little old.  Worse, on RemoteApp it's actually quite a pain in the ass, especially when the user is not logged in and their user profile directory is buried in a VHDX file named with their domain SID and stored on a file system.

I can't be the only one who thinks this is purely ridiculous after all this time.  Comments?

Actually we just started deleting AUC files with AX 2012 because we encountered objects that had the wrong type (e.g. a map that appeared as a table). Since according to Microsoft this is caused by client caches, we started to delete them regularly (currently once a week). I do not think we had trouble with AUC files in earlier versions of AX.

Could you share more detailed information about the problems you encountered that are caused by corrupt AUC files?

Could you write a script to delete the users AUC files more efficiently? Not sure of all your file system securities etc.

How would you delete AUC files in a RemoteApp environment running Windows Server 2012 R2 where the user profile directories are mounted VHDX files?

In my company, system administrators created a script, so each time an user started a new session, cache files were deleted (this is very easy if they are connecting against a remote desktop server)
