While creating application from the Application user form, I can find all the fields are readonly except application id. Can't we specify our username and email id for the application user ?

As per my iunderstanding, We cannot pass username and emailid to application user.

Application user is used mainly for the integration purpose. It is like a dummy user which will be used to leverage Dynamics 365 API's. Mainly Application user is linked with the Azure for the Authentication and Authorizations.
Once an app is registered with the Azure it will have it's own certain information like client ID, client secret, etc... which will be used in the Application user. This will help azure to figure out where an application user is used.
