We are relatively new to using  Microsoft Dynamics GP I would like to find out if each supervisor can be assigned a unique password to approve transactions  relative to the module for which they are responsible . Thank you !

Hi Anaya, you can setup a unique password for each module, and even a unique password for different aspects within each module.  These passwords are module specific for each company; not for each user.  The Setup screen in each module has the place to enter password for each type of restriction you want password protected.

    Hi Anaya

You may want to look at implementing workflow for approvals.  This way your supervisors who approve don't necessarily have to be Dynamics GP users.

There are several places passwords can be setup.

For example you can setup a password for batch approval.  Having passwords everywhere makes things hard to manage.

Look into setting up workflow for approvals.  You can route approvals based on different criteria to different approvers.
