I created a survey with two languages i.e. English (Primary) and Malay (Secondary). Now, I want to make Malay as the primary language. How can I do that in the Dynamics 365 Customer Voice?
Thanks.
JL
Hi JL, You can edit the default language to swap the two languages.
Please go to Customization panel on the right from your Design tab --> Settings called "Languages" ---> Click on Default language to edit.
Hi,
I found that as long as the language (Malay) remains under the 'Additional' section, the selection for 'Malay' will be grey out in the Default. If I delete the Malay from the 'Additional' section, I can choose Malay as default, however, the display on the form remains as English. I have been testing all sorts of available functions including recreate the template and upload again but all failed to achieve the outcome that I hope, except, redo the entire form by choosing Malay as the default language before putting in the questions in Malay language.
Thanks,
Hi JL - Yes, the current behaviour of swapping the default language is slightly tedious.
I assume you are using the Customer Voice application with English as the browser language. For a quick setting up of the survey with Malay as the primary language, I would suggest changing the browser language to Malay, and then reloading the CV application. Now you can easily setup the new survey in Malay. Once done, you can revert back to your original browser language. This can help you save some time.
Hope this helps!
