When I extract data from an entity using ADF, one of the date field value for some of the records are null and for some empty string. How is it possible? Is there anything we need to do on CRM side so field value will be always empty if not provided.

Is there any place where you are handling the min value of the date and default value? that may be the issue

Yes we can handle the null or empty string using the derived column but I just wanted to understand why it is null for some records and empty string for others.

Have you enabled field security profile for your field in crm dynamics?

If yes then please verify if User has added to the field security profile

If that case I would suggest you to check the ADF pipeline configuration for date field if there is any expression or condition is causing the issue

Thanks for the comment Naveen. We don't want that date field to be mandatory & when there is a data in the field then it works fine. I don't understand how the same column type shows different values for different records.

Hi Akshay,

There is a possibility that ADF pipeline configuration has some issues while retrieving the data. Also, I am not sure but try making the field mandatory and replicate the issue.
