Hi all,
Can someone advise me whether standard function of email sending status actually caters for the reason for failure on email sending/receiving? In the Email Sending Status Form which can be found in System Administration Module, I can only see Email Status (eg, Sent or Failed) but there seems to be no descriptive message for the reason of failure.
I need to confirm if this is standard in AX not to show any descriptive log for failure processes.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

An additional note: If the failure is because of a limit of mails that may be sent, you can setup a retry schedule. I had done this in the past where there was a limit of 100 e-mails at a time. Then two minutes later it did a retry. I did setup 10 attempts with a sequence of 2 minutes.
Yes, as Andre confirmed, this is the standard behavior of AX. System will show the failed messages, but not reason for the failure. In my experience, if your e-mail parameter (System administration -> Setup -> System) is wrong, then system will fail to send the e-mails
Hi,
This is standard. AX tries to send an email, but will only register that it failed. You can find the details on the Exchange server. Also if you have e.g. a virus scanner on the AOS, this can block the sending of emails. So also check the event viewer logs on the AOS servers.
