Hi,

Curiousihow to create below in D365 Marketing. It is the scoring model in eloqua:

  • One model based on engagement
  • One model based on profile
  • Combined the create baskets of leads
    • From bad fit & no engagement
    • To good fit & high engagement
    • You use the baskets fo sales ready and other actions

Score Description Follow-up action
A4 The right prospect but no interest. Send specific "why now" messaging.
B1 Good fit and very interested. Send to a sales queue for immediate follow-up.
C1 Not the ideal prospect but very interested. Continue to nurture and profile so you can determine if the lead is a good fit.

D4

Wrong fit. No interest. Fulfill any requests and segment out.

See https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/marketing/eloqua-user/Help/LeadScoring/LeadScoring.htm

My thoughts of recreating this in D365 Marketing

  • Create two socring models. One for engagement + one for profile
  • Don't use grade, don't active automatic sales and marketing ready in scoring config
  • Create classic workflows in which you combine buckets with corresponding actions
  • In Eloqua you also have the options to view what's in the buckets. That would be impossible in D365 marketing (or custom build something?

Anybody thoughts about creating someting similar in D365 Marketing?

RE: Combined scoring models (Eloqua style)

    Hi mhoekstra

Hope is all well and apologies for the delay.

Unfortunately, the scenario you mentioned above is not easily enabled in Outbound Marketing. You can definitely create two scoring models, one for behavioral and one for demographic, and incorporate grading to each. However, the "buckets" application could require multiple complex journeys.

We are revamping the Lead scoring and Qualification feature in Real Time Marketing and would love to hear your feedback, feel free to reach out to rdancuart at microsoft.com.

    Best,

    Ricardo

    Hi mhoekstra,

Unfortunately, it seems that it can't be achieved in marketing.
