Pop-up before Dynamics AX

Hi,

I am not sure how to start this - and what to call a pop-up that launches before the AX.
Right now, we already have a pop-up that is popping up before AX launches - but I'd like to change the text in that - it basically serves the purpose of telling what environment user is in etc..
Would anyone please be able to point me in the right direction.?

I know this question is really really vague.

This is absolutely possible. I've done it before but I just don't remember how I did it. I think it's in the configuration utility where there is a checkbox that you have to check and it will tell what AX version you are running every time AX is opened.

Hopefully somebody else will provide more direct answer.

I think I know what you're saying... msdn.microsoft.com/.../aa569647(v=ax.10).aspx but the problem is I don't see any text populated as of now in the current environment config field . But when launching AX I see that welcome/startup message.

Maybe there is somewhere else where we can change it except the config utility?

Maybe save your "typed" in message & close AX config utility. Open AX client to see the changes take effect? Sorry if I'm misunderstanding it.

I think you need to find the Microsoft Dynamics Configuration Program and adjust the 'Startup message' in your configuration file

start>Admin Tools> Microsoft Dynamics AX Config> General Tab> Startup message .
