Dear All,
Is is possible to change the final approver of the business portal requisition management?. That main person at the apex of the hierarchy?.
Even if at the back end, I welcome the suggestions.
From what I can remember of Business Portal's Requisition Management, I'm not sure you can replace the Requisition Administrator which is, by default, the very top of the approval hierarchy.
I want to say that, similar to our Workflow 2.0 currently in Dynamics GP where we always have to have a Workflow Manager specified that can do anything it needs with the workflows, i.e. approve, reject, recall, re-submit, etc., the Requisition Management in Business Portal always has the Requisition Administrator role at the very top of the approval hierarchy as sort of a 'catch all' so at least one set of users would be able to do anything needed with the requisitions, as far as approval to final approval.
I wouldn't recommend making changes directly through the SQL / database tables either.

Please PM me as I used to work a long time ago with BP too and this is a scenario that happens once in a while with an approver that is out for a longer period and the requisition needed to be re-assigned to a different user.
I've some scripts that I wrote for that purpose in SQL.
PS: basically you have to identify the UID from the approver user and update a couple tables with the proper UID.
