    Hi Nina2021,

Parag showed you how to use the security configuration form to hide some of the links. If you want to know what privileges and duties are involved for each menu item, you can use the task recording and record opening of the forms for those menu items you want to hide. Then using the form 'Security diagnostics for task recordings, you can find information about these security objects. Also on each form, you can open the Security diagnostics option to get the related security object information.

    Hi Nina,

Thank you for the detailed steps.

The only workaround I see go to Security configuration under the System Admin module.

Select the Role for which you want to hide the form.

See the below example. I want to hide Loan items form

    Go to Security configuration

You can only give access based on your requirement.

Once done then publish the changes.

Login with desired role and check the form again.

Note: Before doing this, please duplicate the role and make the changes accordingly.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi Parag,

    Here's the step-by-step process I'm following :

    1. I go to Personnel management
    2. I click on Link
    3. If I use the personnalisation option :
      1. I click on the settings then "personnalisation"

      2. I click on "select"
        • pastedimage1616160262280v2.png
      3. Result : when I select an field, the dialog box (hid, modify, change...) doesn't appear.
        • pastedimage1616160398534v3.png
    4. If I use the security option :
      1. I right click on the element to be hidden
        • pastedimage1616160500842v4.png
      2. I click on screen name to open the control screen
        • pastedimage1616160635291v5.png
      3. I click on "clear" then OK

      4. Result : nothing happens.

    Hello Parag,

    Thank you for your reply.

However, although I have enabled the "saved view feature" and modify certain elements using personnalization for all users, the elements in the Link tab of "personnel management" appear to be unchangeable.

I have tried via security but it is not working either.

    Thank you.

    Hi Nina,

If you want to hide the information then you can do it in two ways.

    1. Use the personalization option and enabled the Saved View feature. Hide the menu path and using personalization you can hide from selected or all users

    2. You can hide these objects via security. Let's say you want to hide those objects from the Employee or manager role. You can just remove the permission from that role and they will not able to see it.
