Location ID Number Sequence

Where should the Location ID number sequence be set?

For the integration purposes between Talent and Finance and Operations, when worker's address is transferred it gets mixed with the Location IDs from FinOps, and the recommendation is to have a different Number Sequence. Where should we do this?

Thanks,

Petya

    Thank you very much, Erik!

I found that the Party ID for the workers is not transferred, but instead is created a new one in FO.

We will use Talent as the source system for workers, positions, etc.

    Hi Petya,

For the integration between Talent & F&O you need to think about a lot of scenarios, and integrations.

The number sequence for Location ID is just only 1 of those ellements you need to think off.

This can be maintained as part of the number sequence setup (within System Admin):

Please keep in mind to also think about (just a few examples):

    • Party ID;s
    • Employees (what is the source system to enter these)?
    • Positions (what is the source system to enter these)?

Please reach out in case you need any support.
