Zetadocs Express Install Error

Trying to install Zetadocs Express on my laptop as a standalone installation for demo purposes. I have NAV 2013 R2 installed on the machine.

Get the following error when I run the Zetadocs setup.exe:

"Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 or 2013 Role Tailored Client needs to be installed for this installation to continue"

Error log shows an additional message: Error 2732 Directory Manager not initialized

    Hello,

    Sorry for delay in response.

    We have found that on some systems the registry key mentioned above is stored within a GUID folder in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DynamicsNav71, instead of in the Dynamics71 folder itself.  I believe if you add the reg key as described above then this should resolve the issue.

    If issue is unresolved, please email support@equisys.com and we will investigate further for you. I will post an update here when we find resolution.

    Hi David,

    I am having the same issue on some PC's but not others.

    We cannot find the registry key on either working or none working pc's (Win 7 64Bit).

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

    Please can you check if the following registry key exists on your PC:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DynamicsNav71

    It should contain the following String Value:

    Value name: DisplayVersion
    Value data: 7.1.35473.0

    If the above doesn't exist, add manually and try running the Zetadocs Express installer again. Please let me know if this resolves the issue or not.
