I feel as if I am drowning in the myriad of MO tables in GP and need a life preserver.
I am trying to tie the serial numbers from WO010515 to an MO picklist EXPV1003. However since a given MO picklist can have duplicate Item Numbers I cannot simply join Item Numbers and MO #'s. I need to join some level of sequence...line number...or etc.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance.
Thank you
Randy
Hi Randy,
Yes, linking MFG tables can be a challenge sometimes. Looks like you are trying to link the WO010515 (Manufacture Order Serial Issue) table to the EXPV1003 (picklist file view table). I would like to point you to the PK010033 Actual picklist table instead since that's the actual picklist table.
One is for those serial items that were issued to a pick document and the other is the pick list table which lists which items will be used in the BOM, quantities etc.
The main information that is the same is the MO number, Item number that was serialized/issued. I'm noticing in my testing that the LNSEQNBR from the WO table is the same as the BOMSEQ_I from the PK table. Maybe give that a try to see if that helps.
