Hi everyone,
I am familiar with the setup and tribulations of Account Structures. The validation error of overlapping main accounts, or incorrect placement of blanks to create overlap inconsistencies, etc.
So, I hope this question rises above all that, this just seems odd and I cannot find any documentation to back it up.
I have three active Account Structures - Balance Sheet, Expense, Revenue. They follow like this Fund (*) - MainAccount - Organization (*)
Now, I edit Expense and move Organization into the second slot like this Fund (*) - Organization (*) - MainAccount. When I try to activate it, I get the following error:
"Account structure Expense, financial dimension MainAccount, at position 2, must match existing account structures for a ledger."
I feel like the error is telling me there are active ledgers with MainAccount in position two, and for some reason moving MainAccount to position three violates some undocumented rule?
Has anyone knowledge of why this won't work?
