Hi all,

I am experiencing the below error after installing FRX. My GP version is GP 2010 version 11.00.1524. After picking the company in order to view the reports, I get a prompt to enter the password, I put sa and its respective password but unfortunately I get the following error.

FRx32.OFSIMain.CheckOFSIConnection
8900: -2147319779FRxMBSUtilAutomation error
Library not registered

Kindly assist.

Microsoft purposely change the code in GPConn in later versions to insure FRx would not work. It was their way of forcing the use of Management Reporter. I am glad you found a workable solution.

Thank you so much for your response and guidance.

I tried to register GPConn.dll but this didn't resolve the issue. Then I went to a folder where I had saved GPConn.dll from another GP version 10 I copied it to the following paths:-

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Dexterity

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Dexterity

and registered the GPConn.dll gain pointing to the above paths and it worked.

What OS are you running? I forget the name but there is a batch file you will find in your FRx program folder that will register all the FRx dlls. Something like FRxReg.bat???
