Hi,

Can somebody please explain the parameter add attachments in system admin and its function for workflow?

What attachments are allowed and how will this work during workflow approvals?

    Hi Monika,

    What exact parameter form are you referring to? The workflow itself has no documents. The workflow handles a message to get a document approved. The document (like purchase order or invoice) can have attachments.

    Sorry, seems like my screenshot didn't post - I is the parameter in system admin > workflow > workflow parameters > add attachments. I was wondering what functionality will be enabled with this parameter?

    Wondering the same thing. Trying to test. What does this enable? 

    Looking for a way to send the attachments from the source document with the Workflow email to the approver.

    This is for attachments to System Admin workflows -  As part of the system administration setup, you can create workflows to manage user provisioning for user requests, and to inactivate users following an inactivate user request.see https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/set-up-system-administration-workflows
