AX crashes when clicking on buttons of some forms

Hi,

When I click on OK or Cancel button on some of the forms, AX automatically crashes. If I add a sleep() function it is solved and working fine. Looks like a bottleneck problem.

As we can't add sleep() function to all the forms which makes AX crash, is there any other way to solve this problem?

Thanks & Regards,

Praveen

Then talk to the person who can do that.

Actually I am new and I don't have admin rights to install. I can access only the application via Citrix. Any suggestions?

Your version is 13 years old. An update would be more than appropriate.

Collecting a memory dump on crash and analyzing it can indeed give you a lot of information, but note that the analysis isn't trivial.

Were you able to find anything in the event logs . Also i would suggest to install the debud diag tool to collect the crash dump.

in debugger no crash is happening, runs fine.

    Kernal Version - 5.0.1000.52

    Application Version - 5.0.1000.52

Were you able to find the exact place where it crashes? Try using the debugger to find it.

Do you have the latest kernel? If not, consider installing it. It's possible that it's caused by a problem in kernel that has already been fixed.
