I want to add multiple entries in a CRM field and display the entries before saving the form. I can able to add only 1 entry or multiple entries can be added only after saving the form. So can anyone help me how to add multiple entries and display the entries before saving the form.

Please follow below steps and you will able to implement your requirement.

    1. Create N:N relationship between Opportunity and contact. and make this relationship as below.

    Provide details just like below

Then open main opportunity form. And you can insert a tab/section depending on your requirement.

After that add sub-grid and select N:N relationship, then save and publish the form.

in below example you can see i have added same contact in multiple opportunities.

    A. First opportunity

Yes Amit, the same contact will be used in other opportunities. Can you please explain me the process of using N:N relationship? Also if I use contact sub grid the multiple entry will take only after saving the form, but I want to view all my entries before saving the form. Is it possible?

I have a question does same contact will be used in other opportunities ? if yes then you will need to use N:N Relationship and add the contact sub grid on the opportunity form.

Can you please guide me how to create 1:N relationship between opportunity and Contact? And also confirm me that the multiple contacts should get displayed, so that he can review it before saving the form.

    Hello Rajath,

You can create a 1:N Relationship between Opportunity and Contact.

after that add a contact sub-grid on the opportunity form.

so using this employee will add the new or existing contacts. and you will able to track all the contacts which are met for this opportunity.

    Thank you,

    Amit Katariya

Yes exactly its a contact field. Employee will select a contact of a person whom he has met with and system will save it. But what we need is if an employee has met 2 to 3 persons for one single opportunity of sale then he has to enter all their contacts at a time and save the form. He should not fill the new form for second or third contact.

It will be a contact lookup correct? it will show the contacts OOB itself and when user will select any one of them, system will save it.

then what customization you are looking for? because I am not able to understand what is the multiple entries to a field....

The field which we want to use as multiple entries is Lookup field. We are pulling the contacts to this field. Only one contact can be added, but we want to add multiple contacts and display it before saving the form.
