Recall button not appearing on workflow

Hello,

I am new to workflow development and configurations. After submitting workflow in enterprise portal, user should be able to see 'Recall' button if it's not approved.  Approver is able to see the 'Recall' button though on EP.

What configuration or development needs to be done for the same?

    Hi VDY,

    During the development of new workflow what you select in "Generate menu item" option. you must choose "both" if you want to enable this on EP as well.

    Hi,

    where can i find the code which controls the options in yellow bar appears on top of list page to take action on workflow?

    in my case, after approval of workflow, it shows "Resubmit" option which is incorrect. It should show only "View History" option.

    Below were the order of action

    Submit -> Recall -> Submit ->Reject -> Submit -> Approved.

    Here when it was rejected, it kept workflow instance in pending status and it created a new workflow instance when it was submitted after Reject.  i think this must be the issue.

    Hi VDY,

    Try to look at some out of the box workflow implementation for different document like Free Text Invoice, Purchase requisition or purchase order and compare your code with these classes. There must be something that you are missing. If you can share your code here, I can analyse and try to find out what is the issue.

    i just removed the Resumitwebmenuitem & Resubmitmenuitem property on workflow approval. it removed Resumit button.

    Also i stopped using Reject workitem and started using Deny workitem so that workflow will get completed and not stay in  'pending' state.
