ReportReport

If I have a look at the attributes which are available in the report designer tool, I really do like to add the attribute "reason code" for my equity statement. Is there any easy solution to add this attribute to the list of attributes available in my report designer tool?

    Hi Esther,

My understanding is that one cannot influence the attribute values that are listed and available out of the box.

Probably reach out to the MS support; they might know a 'secret' / hidden trick.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Esther,

There is no customization or extension option for Management Reporter. You can create another SSRS report, Power BI report or suggest your idea on the Dynamics experience portal (https://ideas.dynamics.com).

Hello Ludwig, I was triggered by your blog "Stockholders equity statement" where I can see the line  "+Attribute=Reason Code = [xx:xx]" and was wondering how you got the line in your row definition.

    Good morning Esther,

I just had a look at the attributes in my demo environment and I can see a reason code element available for selection.

    Question:

    Can you test two things:

    1. Test this in a different demo/test environment to verify whether you get the same drop down list elements

    2. Post a single transaction with a reason code in D365FO. Then open the financial report designer again and check if you have the reason code available for selection.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Great.

As usual, if the issue has been fixed, please be so kind and verify the answers to get this thread completed.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
