SSRS Report Text Box not filling as per text in AX

Hi Everyone,

I have a field created which has smmActivityUserMemo as EDT.

I have a textbox in my report which displays this field.

But while doing so, the textbox doesnt fill completely with the text.

I tried changing the alignment of text, but that didnt help me.

    Maybe there is a "new line" symbol in your text ?

    If yes, you need to remove all carriage return symbols, please refer to this blog post stoneridgesoftware.com/replacing-carriage-return-or-new-line-characters-in-ssrs

    Hi Miroshnikov,

    There is no new line symbol in my text.

    What i have is:

    ="T&C" + vbcrlf + <expr>

    So. after T&C, there is a new line.

    The <expr> carries a paragraph and this is not utilising the entire text box space.

    The issue was in the text. The text was copied from somewhere and it had a carriage return!

    Ievgen is correct. If you don't to display the new line, you have to replace the new line by using replace function like

    ="T&C" + vbcrlf + REPLACE(<expr>, CHR(10), "")

    If you want to display all content, you can decrease the font size or you need to allow the textbox to auto grow by right click the textbox and properties -> Check Allow height to increase.
