Hi,
I set "Configure entity execution parameters" and set threading logic on entity level based on the article below
https://community.dynamics.com/365/financeandoperations/b/365foroperationstechnical/posts/dynamics-365-for-operations-integration-performance-tuning-tips
It really leverage the multple thread during import, however what I found is it only use 4 threads even I specify the batch group for the batch job, and I include all the batch servers in the batch group. In theory, it should use 4x10=40 threads, but it ends up with only 4 threads.
Any idea?
Thanks,
For sequential processing there is a check box on the recurring data job. If you submit multiple messages those are going to be processed by a single batch job with single task.
Thanks Sukrut,
I looked at the article you mentioned, it is for manual importing through batch. If I set up an recurring job, and submit multiple messages to it, would it be multi-threaded or F&O will process these messages sequentially?
Hi Yuji ,
Import task count is depends on what you have set up on entity execution parameters form. Try setting up different thread for different record count and spilt your file accordingly.

And also is it still true that " Based on our tests, this kind of multi threading works only if the user manually imports the file on the data project and selects Import options - Import in batch. But if the file comes through an integration endpoint to the D365O queue, multi threading won't happen."?
