Creating a thank you Word template that links to only one donation

Hello everyone

We've just started to create Word letter templates for our users in Dynamics CRM. So far we've managed to create simple templates that pull in the name, address and salutation of contacts from the Contact Entity.

However, we're now trying to say e.g. "Thank your for your recent donation of £x to y fund". To get this information we've added in the Donation Entity.

The problem we're having is how to pull the correct value for the donation and the correct value for the fund from the Donations Entity. Our donors often contribute different amounts to different funds, so how can we ensure the template selects the correct donation? For example, I could donate 5 different amounts to 5 different funds, but I would only need to be thanked for one (my latest) donation.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks
Jon
