Hi,

MSCRM Version: 1710(9.1.0.35) Online

I have created a new Dynamics UCI App and added Activities in it. The added activities and other Groups(i.e. Sales, Services etc.) are visible for other users, but one of the user (for e.g. ABC) is able to see Activities in UCI app but when he click's on it the below error occurs on screen:

Something has gone wrong. Check technical details for more details.

I have tried below things:

- Checked security roles of "ABC" user as well as for time being provided "System Adminitrator" Role, but even then issue not resolved.

- Cross checked Security roles with User "XYZ" who is able to access "Activities" on UCI app and we noticed that User "ABC" also has the same security roles but even then he is getting above   issue.

- Checked Activities on Web using same users(i.e. For e.g. "ABC")credential, but no any error occurs when we open activities.

Any help on the above would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Akshay

Check the UCI assets/artifacts where all the needed entities are checked in App designer. Like regarding lookup entity or some other reference like user, etc

    Hi Akshay,

I just encountered this error myself, it looks like it could be a UCI bug but I have a workaround in my case that may help you.

In our case it was reported that a user was getting the same error as you, I was able to reproduce this error by going to the Activities area in the classic web interface and pinning a non Activities view, e.g. "My Phone Calls" or "All Tasks" etc. If I then refreshed the UCI app and went to Activities it threw this error.

So to fix I needed to go back to the Activities area in the classic web interface and pin an Activity view, e.g. "My Activities", then when I then refreshed the UCI app and went to Activities it worked again.

Note: I can pin different activity type views from the UCI app without issue so this seems to be triggered when moving between different apps.

    Hopefully that helps.
