Hi Team,

We have shifted MS Dynamics AX application (version 2009 SP1) from windows Server 2008 Server to Windows server 2012 R2

After shifting when we are starting the Dynamics services, randomly users are observing App Crash. We need your help to understand the root cause for the same

We have already running server from which issue is not observed.

Only 2 new servers(Windows server 2012 R2 where we installed the apps, issue is observed.

Below will be application details:

Application Nam & Version: MS Dynamics AX 2009 SP1  (5.0.593)

Kernel Version:5.0.1600.2596

Regards,

We installed similar KB file which was working in existing server. i.e.  KB2405516

As per below URL this KB is for Rollup Update 6 5.0.1500.3761 16 Dec 2010 KB2405516

    URL Name: cloudblogs.microsoft.com/.../

However, if we see app version in control panel (Appwizz.cpl) its shows RTM 5.0.593.0

Not sure if we can apply now RU8 on new servers . Actually it should not affect on existing servers and their execution

    Thanks & Regards,

Did you install RU8 after installing SP1?  We have clients running 2009 on Server 2012 and we installed RU8 in addition to SP1.

    Hi Andre,

Thank you for your response. Other system logs are with event ID 41, 6008 which may related to system not responding but not sure if  this is only causing the issue.

Other error from server 01 as below

Object server 01: Unexpected situation with event ID 110

These servers are VM's and have increased Virtual memory as well which may cause issue, this is my assumption only.

We have installed below components only

    Database server

    Application files

    Application object server

    Client

    .Net Business connector

Also we are unable to found .Net Business connector even though this is selected and installed

    Thanks & Regards,

    PS

    Hi,

AX2009 is a quite old application. Are you able to identify which processes are used by the users when the clients crashing? Do you have more information from other Windows server events? You shared a screenshot of only only error. There is also an error in the 'Dynamics Server 01'.
