WebClient - A server error has occurred. Only default NAV instance works

Hi

I am trying to set up a NAV 2015 environment on three servers in the same Windows domain (NAVSQL1, NAVHOST1 and NAVWEB1).

NAVHOST1 has different NAV instances, all with deferent management/client ports. All NAV-instances can be connected with the Windows NAV client.

I also have deferent NAV Web Server Instances. They all work with the deferent NAV Instance.

But if I change the "web.config" to use another NAV-Instance and port I get the error "A server error has occurred, and the content cannot be displayed. Refresh the page or open a new browser window."

and this in the log on NAVWebhost1:

Message: A server was not found at "net.tcp://navhost1.nav.local:7446/DynamicsX/Service". Either the URL is incorrect or the server is currently not available.

From the NAVWebhost1 I can "telnet navhost1.nav.local 7446" and get an response.

All NAV-instances run with the user NAV\navsvc

and running this command:

C:\>setspn -l NAV\NavSvc
Registered ServicePrincipalNames for CN=NavSvc,CN=Users,DC=nav,DC=local:
        DynamicsNAV/NavHost1:7445
        DynamicsNAV/NavHost1.nav.local:7445
        DynamicsNAV/NavHost1:7446
        DynamicsNAV/NavHost1.nav.local:7446
        MSSQLSvc/NavSQL1.nav.local:49705
        MSSQLSvc/NavSQL1.nav.local:NAVSQL

I can see the right SPN's are in place.

I am a little lost here, can anybody help?

Best regards

Martin

Thank you for your answers - I really appreciate that!

First, should I not be able to add "DynamicsNAV NavHost1 7446" in the delegation tab?

Only the default seems to be there. Se below.

    It works now!

Had to use the service user, and added that for delegation.
