Issues with G/L Account Categories(sub category) in Business Central ERP

ReportReport
Posted on by 75
After changing the existing G/L account categories and configuring new G/L account categories via a configuration package in Business Central,
I tried to generate a financial report from G/L Account Categories, but I'm getting improper results. The row definitions are incorrect. Can anyone help me find the correct solution?

    Hello,
your question is very general since there are many things that can be an issue for this problem.
Your row definitions for Financial Reports can be edited on the page Financial Reports -> select report Name -> Edit Row Definition
On the Row Definition page, you can edit totaling for specific Financial reports and of course, changes in G/L Accounts can produce errors in Financial reports.

Compare old row definitions and GL accounts with new ones, and try to find differences based on new GL account values.

If you have a specific error please send us more information.

In the G/L Account Categories Page you have to select the Generate Financial Reports to update the reports with the new categories.

Hi, In addition, you need to confirm whether the G/L Account Category is set correctly.
    For example.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
