Hi Naresh,
Agreed with you on that! Prism helps a lot to save time of the developers (including mine). It really provide inside out picture of the code which will help to identify the places need modifications.
On the TFS, it is one of the best ways to source control and I am a huge fan of it. I will introduce you to TFS guru in Sri Lanka. You will able to get so much of info from him to improve TFS usage.
Hi Tharanga,
I use Prism lot. Sometimes, it is a life saver when we do project estimations and in actual coding.
Since we use TFS as source control, with the help of Prism, we have eased the delivery to a greater extent.
Maybe TFS is off topic here, just to mention the power of Prism.
Agreed with Naresh, however with a small tool like Statical Prism, your modification will be much smoother. Tool will look for all the places a object or function been used and give you a complete picture of the code map. Once that is been done by the tool, it is just a matter of replacing the places with your new report No.
Once the modifications are done, make sure to compile all the objects and restart NAV service.
Hello Nareshwar Sir,
I have done it through your instruction. Now It is working fine. U r great.

Hi,
Take a backup of Report 50026 and delete it, and then debug your application to spot out the errors you encounter because of Report 50026. Find all the places it has been used in the application and change the reference to Report ID 50461.
You will be fine.
The original report is customized the id is 50026...now I designed the new report id is 50461. My purpose is I want to remove the old report and add new report. I want to replace with report id 50461.

Hi Manish,
What report are you talking about?
If it is standard reports like Sales/Purchase and you have a new customized report, You can use Table 77, Report Selections and specify your new report ID in the correct category. It will look like this.
Or if you are talking about replacing a report which has the same report ID, you can export the current report as .fob or .txt, delete the report and import your new report. Please make sure you are doing what is completely necessary. That's why I prefered you to export and have a backup in the first place.
Hope it helps.
remove the existing report, rename (object id) the new report with the number of the removed report. or export new report as text, change objectid in textfile to object id of old report. import.
