I am currently setting up the user roles. During the PO registration there is a custom button to create asset serial number but only visible using system admin role. How will I identify similar to sec key(like in 2009) or modify the permission to allow others to use it?

    Hi ,

if the button is calling a menu item, you can add the menu item as entry point on the privilege , if not , expand the privilege  -> permissions -> forms -> add new , select the form name, and then add button and specify the button name used in the form with permission level "Delete".

    Regards,

    Bilal

Security keys are not used anymore - use privileges, duties, roles etc. instead. You'll have to learn the new security model: Role-based security.
