Please follow the steps below to resolve the Step 69 error:

    1. Navigate to the Service volume (K):\DeployablePackages{latest RunbookId folder}\MROneBox\scripts\Update.

    2. Locate the DVT execution script: MROneBox\Scripts\Update\AutoRunDVT.ps1.

    3. Create a backup copy of the file.

    4. Open the original file and delete all its contents, leaving it empty. Save the empty file.

    5. Verify that AutoRunDVT.ps1 is now empty.

    6. Resume the update process from LCS.

    7. If you encounter another error, such as for Step 68, immediately start the VM and initiate the service. Verify that the URL is functioning properly.

In case you encounter an error at step 68, just restart and promptly launch the VM. Then, activate the WWW service and verify if the URL is operational.

When error code 500 appears in the error log at step 68, it signifies that either the service or the URL of the dynamics is not functional.

If your question was resolved, contribute to the community by marking the answer as verified.

Get the error log and confirm the error you're receiving. Resume the LCS update  if the URL is functional, which will also restart the VM. Afterwards, check if the URL is operational.

If not, start the VM immediately after executing the LCS update, and begin the VS and service.

is it possible u tell me 'technically' why step 68-69 are giving errors?

Not the answer you are looking for but I would say just mark the step as finished and move on.

Assuming you are trying to upgrade all boxes : What I usuallly do is deploy dev box to target build. Apply customized code, customized ISV packages, check-in , generate build. If there are code compile issues then fix the compile errors. Once a build is generated, upgrade Tier II and then apply customized build. Delete your earlier Dev box and redeploy
