Use of Professional Services Tool Library in dynamics gp

Hello Everyone

Could anyone can explain me in brief use of professional services tool libarary in Dynamics GP?

I would like to add few fields in my Financial Account window. can i do with this tool libarary?

    This toolkit does not provide easy modification of the application or forms, such as adding fields.  It provides a variety of tools to help manage your data.  For example, one tool allows the replacement of account numbers in the tables.

    Accolade has just commissioned a book on the PSTL and hope to have it available by the end of the summer.....

    Modifier is a Dynamics tool or you can use Dexterity to re-write the app.

    Do i have to buy a seperate licence for modifier? because it is greyed out in my Dynamics gp

    Hi,

    Yes, a separate license is required for Modifier. Often you have the ability to use modified windows created by your VAR, but you cannot modify them yourself.

    Thanks for your response. Last question, I will be able to add customized field or change anyother fields from any window in Dynamics gp using modifier, right?

    Hi Dipal,

    Yes you can change or add fileds using Modifier. I would recommend you read the Modifier PDF's in the documentation folder to get more familiar with this product.
