My requirements in need to access related entity fields to setup the default recipient field in d365 customer insights audience configuration instead of using default fields from Contact entity. Could any one please help on this?. Thank you.
In D365 Customer Insights, the default recipient field for audience configuration typically pulls from the primary entity (like Contact) fields only.
To use related entity fields for the recipient:
You need to extend your Customer Profile model to include those related entity fields as linked attributes.
Use the Data Unification and Mapping process to bring in related entity fields into the Contact profile.
Once related fields are part of the profile, you can select them as recipient fields in audience configuration.
Directly using related entity fields without mapping them into the profile isn’t supported.
