Hello,
Since yesterday a strange change is applied in our Dynamics 365 CE environment. Suddenly the linked records in views and subgrids have an underline applied to them. This makes reading the views and subgrids much more difficult. It is very irritating and it does not add anything good. It has no purpose.
Here you can see how it now looks:
Does annyone know why this is, and can i switch it off? I can't find any setting for it.
Thank you.
I have found a workaround, it involves a Browser plugin, but it is pretty easy to perform. It is worth the hassle in my opinion.
Step 1: Download browserplugin Stylebot: Home | Stylebot
Step 2: Open Stylebot options:
Step 3: go to Styles and add a new style:
Step 4: Add your Dynamics URL and add this CSS code and hit save:
a:link { text-decoration: none; } .personaRootLinkStyle-308 {text-decoration: none;}
Now the underlining will disappear from your UX. Maybe it will only apear on the user column.

We don't have any menu option saying 'Use Legacy Form Rendering'.
Hello thank you for your response.
This is not due to browser caching. I also tested different browsers, no effect.
You do have legacy app in the General Tab, but I can't find the "Use Legacy Form Rendering" section
Happy to find this tread, I just wanted to post the same thing.
I got this remark also from a customer, saying it is too much
If you look at a Work Order View, there are about 6 columns with lookup fields...that is a lot of blue + underlining.
Happened also a couple of days ago. So here at the company we guess it is a part of UI adaptation of this release.
It's possible that the underline on linked records in Dynamics 365 CE environment was added as a result of a recent update or change in the system settings. To disable the underline, you can try the following steps:
1. Go to the Settings menu in Dynamics 365 CE environment.
2. Select the "Administration" option and then select "System Settings."
3. In the System Settings window, click on the "General" tab.
4. Scroll down to the "Use Legacy Form Rendering" section and select "Yes" to enable legacy form rendering.
5. Save the changes and refresh the page to see if the underline has been removed.
Note: Enabling legacy form rendering may have other effects on the system, so it is recommended to test this change in a non-production environment before making the change in a production environment.
Hi,
I can't reproduce your problem. The blue underline will only appear if the cursor is moved up.
Please try clearing your browser cache.
If the problem still cannot be resolved.
I suggest you create a support ticket for professional assistance following the below procedure.
