E-Commerce for CRM

Does anyone know how that works? https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/solutions/ecommerce/

Is this a "module" for Azure that can be "linked" to the CRM?
We are using CRM 2016 and want to offer our products online in a shop. My "hope" is that Dynamics 365 offers a portal for that without a lot programming work which will display our products with the right price.

I have the same question (0)

Ok, sorry. I think I just found it: Dynamics 365 Commerce

But if you have other ideas, please let me know.

    Hi Bernard,

If you are looking for Microsoft products, then Dynamics 365 Commerce has the e-commerce solution. Otherwise, you have to look at alternatives from other vendors.

    Hello Bernhard,

Looking at your requirement, I don't think that you can go wrong with Dynamics 365 Commerce: dynamics.microsoft.com/.../.

D365 Commerce makes sense because the integrations and data sharing across Dynamics 365 business applications such as Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Marketing are supported through the shared Common Data Service.

    Regards,

    Chris

    Hi André,

    Hello Chris,

thanks for your answer and the information of the "Marketing" App. (We maybe need this in the future.)

Is it easy to "connect" the Marketing, CRM and the Commerce with the Common Data Service or does it need a lot of (development) work?

    Best regards,

    Bernhard

    Hello Bernhard,

It should not be terribly difficult to integrate these apps with each other because they are built on the shared Common Data Service. However, there would be some development work involved but not a lot. It is worth looking into. I believe you should be able to find some documentation for the same.

Additionally, I would also suggest that you check the Microsoft AppSource for some e-Commerce solutions that integrate directly with your Dynamics 365 Apps. The best part about third-party programs on AppSource is that they undergo an in-depth approval process with Microsoft before they can be listed, so you always know that you are working with software that you can trust.

    Regards,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

thanks for the tip. I will look for some documentation and a possible App. (Your info that the Apps are getting a "in-depth approval process with Microsoft", helped me a lot.)

    Have a great weekend.

    Best regards,

    Bernhard
