Can Not Edit Records In Invent Table error

Hello everyone,

I have added five customized fields on Released product form. Product is being created through integration. When I am trying to modify any of the custom field it is giving me below error.

Does any one have face similar issue? Is this any kind of bug in product itself?

    It may be a regular update conflict, when somebody (either a user or another process, such as your integration) changed the record before you managed to save your changes. It protects the system from inconsistent updates (e.g. you could unintentionally remove a part of changes done by the other user).

    But it can also be caused by a bug in code, when a single process is changing the record twice and doesn't do it right.

    Thanks for your reply!!!

    My bad here. Products are not being created through integration but it is uploaded through data entities and then it is synced with CRM. So integration is not causing any issue over here.

    Is such kind of scenario possible with Data entity upload? What should we do to resolve same? I am thinking of using refresh method but it seems it won't help as previous record is not yet commited.

    It may happen with any concurrent update, which includes updates from data import.

    It it's a legitimate conflict of two users changing the same record at the same time, I'm not sure how you'll define "to resolve". It would require a switch from optimistic locking to pessimistic, wouldn't it?

    this is normal behavior based on optimistic/pessimistic concurrency mode
