Dynamics 365 CRM form on change event

We have a CRM Form with accountid lookup with on change event of account id brings primary contact info.

But when i open the CRM Form  using (from custom button) Xrm.Navigation.openForm with formParameters setting

accountid values not triggering accountid onchnage event

    Hi partner,

    According to your description, did you mean you want to use JS to change the value of lookup field and trigger the onchange event?

    If so, the setting value event is triggered when loading the form, not onchange event and therefore you could not trigger the action of change event.

    I recommend to try "Quick View" OOB feature.

    Go to form editor and switch to "Insert" tab->Quick View Form

    Can you please try to intricate the issue in more details. May be you have to turn your notifications on, so it might trigger onchange event.
