Hello,

I made a Customer Journey in Outbound Marketing to simply send an event invitation for a training, so just 1 e-mail.
Our sales can add contacts in CRM to the static segment if they want to invite someone and when they do, an invitation is send.
Our customers can also enroll their employees in this training, so they may need to receive that same invitation again a few weeks/months later. But that contact is already in that static segment, so resending won't work. Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Thank you!
Regards,
Anja

    Hi Pauline,

    I looked into both options.

    1. The segment created from te marketing list is still in the getting ready fase, I cannot get the segment active.... very strange.

    2. The second option....
I cannot create a static segment in RTM without any query or member in it,can that be? Or how do I create an empty static segment in RTM?
I always need to add a behavioral or attribute definition....

    Hi Pauline,
Ok I'll check those 2 options. I never worked with marketing lists because I thought you could not send a marketing e-mail from CRM.
But maybe that's the best option, i'll look into this!
    Thank you for your reply!
    Regards,
    Anja

    Hi Anja,

you can either give security role to the sales team to acces the segments from realtime. Or you can also go with Marketing lists: The sales can add contacts to marketing lists and you can create a realtime segment based on the marketing list. Would that be a solution?

    Hi Pauline,
    Thank you for your reply.
I have considered using Real Time Marketing, but I think the segments then cannot be visible in CRM for our sales.
    Or am I wrong?

    Hi Anja,

have you considered using Real-time Marketing and triggerbased journeys? I think with outbound this will not be possible or you have to create multiple journeys or swimlanes with the same email..
